Emerson has introduced the TopWorx™ HART 7 position transmitter option for its D-Series switchbox. This provides digital communication capabilities, enabling advanced diagnostic and monitoring that supports improved operational efficiency and maintenance planning.

The TopWorx HART 7 discrete valve controller enables automated on/off valves to communicate critical valve information to plant operators and maintenance personnel. This means process plants, oil platforms, and pipelines can manage and control operations more intelligently and efficiently under the most demanding and extreme conditions, increasing overall equipment effectiveness, improving reliability and lowering operating and maintenance costs.
