The 9730 Process Analyser is CI Analytic’s most popular unit in their process line-up! Its low cost and fully loaded features make it a robust unit that can meet the stringent demands of a hazardous area, while providing the user with maximum flexibility for analysis parameters.  In addition to the 9710 features, the 9730 has the capability to allow total analysis, whether it is total sulphur or total chlorides. 

For example, for total sulphur analysis, the analyser measures the presence of sulphur in gas process streams.  Through hydrogenolysis, sulphur-containing compounds are converted to hydrogen sulphide (H2S). 

The reaction of H2S on the sensi-tape produces a coloured stain, the darkness of which is proportional to the concentration which is measured by a sensitive photo-optical system in the analyser.
