Developed to replace traditional test methods, Petrotest’s (Germany) PetroOXY is a new method of performing oxidation stability tests on liquid fuels.
Unlike some other test methods, the PetroOXY’s results are determined by the oxidation stability of both the volatile and non-volatile components of the liquid sample.
Not only does this provide a more comprehensive fuel storage stability analysis, it also offers clear and easily understandable results with significant improvements in analytical repeatability and reproducibility.
The PetroOXY method also provides very fast test times (typically less than one hour), improved user safety, simple sample handling, a small 5 ml sample size, a simple 5 min. cleaning procedure, and automatic operation. It is an excellent choice for scientists and technicians involved with the development, production, storage, and use of fuels including bio-diesel and fuel additives
