On Tour with Mobile Instrument Trailer for European Roadshow

This past June, AMETEK Grabner Instruments began its European Mobile Trailer roadshow. Equipped with the latest in laboratory and process instrumentation, the trailer embarked on a months-long journey to reach current and potential customers across Europe.

June 16th marked the start of the Mobile Trailer roadshow. The trailer made its first stop at the Austrian Oil & Gas company OMV. More than 30 technical experts from OMV and affiliated companies joined in on a demonstration of Grabner analysers that included the MINIVAP VP Vision, the MINIVAP ON-LINE process analyser; the MINIFLASH Touch, its best-selling flashpoint tester; the MiniScan IRXpert portable gasoline, diesel and jet fuel analyser; and the MINIDIS ADXpert, its unique mini-distillation analyser.

Oliver Sauer, head of marketing and sales for AMETEK Grabner Instruments, explains that visits from Grabner Mobile Trailer are really appreciated by refinery customers. “We bring our exhibition to the customers and offer them a first-hand look at the latest in petroleum laboratory instrumentation. We help them to reduce logistics and travel expenses, because our Mobile Trailer is parked right in front of the refinery lab. This makes it easy for our customers to join us during their lunch or coffee break. Compared to an exhibition, this conserves resources, because the lab manager is available for the company all day.”
