In this seminar first show at PEFTEC 2015 an overview on adsorbents suitable for air sampling and thermal desorption was given. Characteristics of the different applicable carbon media was discussed such as compound and water retention as well as why Carbopack X is suitable for fence line monitoring according to EPA 325. A tool for selecting an adsorbent will be introduced.
