Planet Ocean Announce Distribution Agreement with Fluidion to Offer Their Range of Sampling Systems to the British Isles.

Planet Ocean officially sealed the agreement at the Ocean Business exhibition in Southampton and are now the UK and Ireland distributor for this important new technology from fluidion which allows remote acquisition of water samples and in-situ analysis of E.Coli in onshore or coastal waters.

fluidion products are based on a breakthrough technology that combines microfluidics and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), enabling the autonomous acquisition and analysis of large numbers of individual fluid samples.

This feature enables the use of fluidion products in remote or difficult-to-access settings, 24 hours a day or in extreme environments where alternative technologies are very limited and prohibitively expensive

Remote triggering allows samplers to be controlled via a smartphone or a dedicated web interface, allowing real-time data analysis, transmission and visualization. Water quality monitoring becomes just a mouse click away !
