The 2017 Gulf Coast Conference has been postponed until 17th and 18th January 2018. As you already know Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas as a Category 4 hurricane on August 26th. Harvey has left a disastrous path creating a devastating scene in southeast Texas where countless homes have been destroyed and residents waded in flooded streets looking for safety. Thousands of families have been displaced and need shelter and aid. In times like these it shows how strong we are united. In an effort to help those in need GCC have included a link on their GCC website if you wish to donate.

George R Brown Convention Center is sheltering over 9000 people that have lost their homes and most of the delegates have their hands tied trying to get refineries and plants up and running, as well as worrying about thie rown homes and families. With this in mind, the organisers felt there was no choice but to reschedule the event until January.

The Gulf Coast Conference’s organisers look forward to seeing you at the next GCC!
