Fluenta, a globally renown leader in ultrasonic flare gas measurement for the oil and gas, LNG, and petrochemical and chemical processing sectors, have won the ‘Best Innovation’ category at the UK’s recent 2021 Best Business Awards. Fluenta’s FlarePhaseTM transducers, which were introduced in 2021, were chosen as the innovation of the year, for attaining a new standard of precise, ultrasonic flare gas measurement.

The UK’s Best Business Awards are bestowed to companies selected by a large panel of independent, specialist judges who choose the winners according to stringent criteria for each category and sector.

The Best Business Awards chairman of the judges stated, “Following the introduction of its ground-breaking ultrasonic sensing technology for measuring gas flare, Fluenta Solutions has become a leader and disruptor in its market. Congratulations to Fluenta Solutions for taking ultrasonic sensing technology to the next level and improving safety and profitability for the oil and gas industry.”

Upon receiving the Award, Julian Dudley-Smith, Fluenta’s Director, said: “we’re delighted to be recognised as an innovative business. Flare gas measurement has been our sole focus for over 35 years. We’re dedicated to helping operators not only exceed the regulatory requirements across the world but also enable them to champion revolutionary decarbonisation plans fit for the time of crisis we live in and contribute to achieving net-zero goals.”
