Strong presence in the Persian Gulf

In the future Endress+Hauser (Germany) will support its customers in the Emirate of Qatar with their own distribution and service company. Endress+Hauser (Qatar) L.L.C. has opened for business early in February.

The Persian Gulf region is experiencing enormous growth. Both foreign and local financiers have invested enormous sums in the oil and gas industry, as well as in infrastructure projects. Qatar is also profiting from the boom in the region. “In order to be able to serve our installed base and the market of the emirate even better, we have decided to found our own subsidiary in Qatar”, says Klaus Endress, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group.

From its base in Doha, Endress+Hauser (Qatar) L.L.C. will provide support to customers in the emirate, mainly from the oil & gas, petro-chemical and primaries industries. Special focus will be on service business with commissioning, maintenance and repairs. The new business will cooperate closely with the Middle East Support Center of Endress+Hauser in Dubai.
