The Model FT4X Thermal Mass Flow Meter from Fox Thermal is ideal for oil, gas and industrial process applications.

The notable feature of the FT4X is the data logger. The data logger records flow rate, totals, and other events and alarms. The Model FT4X can log 40 daily totals, features a settable contract time which defines the contract day and time/date stamped alarm and event logs within a 7 year history. The data logger also includes a power off totaliser, so a power failure creates an event log entry and displays details of density and gross heating value based on selected gas composition.

The logs in the Model FT4X Data Logger also give information about the meter’s settings and functionality. Operators can view the meter’s gas or gas mix composition, configuration and other meter settings, calibration validation historical test data as well as viewing and printing logs of events and alarms.

The Model FT4X also features Fox’s DDC-Sensor™ - offering advanced direct digitally controlled sensor technology as well as their Gas-SelectX® Menus consisting of 3 onboard gas selection menus. The CAL-V™ performs in situ calibration validation tests with RS485 Modbus RTU or HART as optional communication protocols. This unit includes a standard USB port to gain direct meter-to-PC connections and also features FT4X View™ software for configuring, graphing, and viewing logs.
