In comparison to other vortex flow meters digitalYewflo stands out for some special features. The measured value is produced at the shedder bar over the whole diameter of the meter tube. The shedding vortices are measured throughout the whole length of the shedder bar. Thus turbulences in the vortex path have less influence on the measuring accuracy; the useful working range is maintained. For that reason even two devices may be flanged to each other directly. Thus redundant measuring – say if it is a matter of highest possible safety-related measuring - or also bidirectional measuring is possible. With its accuracy of a standard of 0.75% of the measured value and its DSP-technology the digitalYewflo is one of the top devices among vortex flow meters.
