This is the second time in Düsseldorf that the Biennial Valve World Conference & Exhibition will be held. The exhibition has been scheduled from 27 to 29 November 2012 and will occupy Halls 3 and 4 as well as the adjacent CCD South, where the conference will be held.

The product range of the valves and fittings industry is both wide and deep. The trade fair is about valves and fittings as well as the relevant components and parts, actuators and positioners, pumps, compressors, engineering services and software. A number of associations and publishing companies will also be presenting themselves.

Valves and fittings are used in a broad variety of industries. They ensure safety in the oil and gas industry, channel liquids and gases in the chemical industry, regulate incoming and outgoing water and ensure a free flow in the drinks industry, to name but a few examples.

In all, six months before the exhibition, more than 15,000 square metres of net floor space have already been booked. 517 leading companies from 36 countries have so far registered for this biggest international industry meeting on industrial valves and fittings.

Thanks to its appeal, the exhibition is expected to attract some 10,000 visitors from the entire world. Close integration between the exhibition and the conference will bring manufacturers and end users together, thus creating ideal networking opportunities.

The vast coverage of this industry is reflected in the wide diversity of professional visitors. The exhibition in Düsseldorf is expected to attract visitors from industries such as oil and gas, water and wastewater, the chemical and petrochemical industries, construction and plant engineering, food and beverages, marine and offshore industries, the energy sector, automotive engineering and the retail trade.

The general economic recovery after the financial and economic crisis has also led to an improvement in key conditions for the valves and fittings industry. All sectors of this industry are now heading for growth!
