SilcoTek is the expert for inert CVD Silicon coatings used in refinery, petrochemical and analytical applications. At PEFTEC 2017 we are presenting our coatings and their benefits for this applications.

The SilcoNert 2000 coating offers ultimate inertness against active compounds such as Sulfur, H2S, NH3, Hg and others. Covering stainless steel surfaces of sample flow parts like tubing, fittings, valves, pressure regulators etc. prevents any interaction between surface and sample.

Because of stricter sulfur regulations like EPA Tier 3 and/or Euro 6 the coating is necessary for applications in which low ppm concentrations or even ppb concentrations of active compounds need to be analysed accurately. The result of a coated sample flow path is short retention time of the gas analyser, no memory effects and no need for saturation.

Furthermore the proven hydrophobicity of the SilcoNert 2000 coating prevents moisture sticking in the sample flow path which can lead to corrosion of the substrate material.
