A new concept in surge relief enables a faster flow

Liquid Meter Company, Inc. is proud to release the new LIMECO ESP^® (Exact Stroke Position) surge relief valve to market at the 2019 International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement. This is the first surge relief valve on the market that enables operators to continuously monitor the position of the piston, confirm proper surge valve sizing and monitor the duration of relief events. This new technology can be retrofitted into existing “Y” patterned relief valves or bought as a complete new valve. The LIMECO ESP^® surge relief valve can provide a precise upper limit set point for pipelines with the help of the Limeco EZ^® nitrogen loading system. The Limeco EZ^® is designed to maintain the tightest set point by continuously correcting for thermal gains or losses, allowing you to safely move more product through the pipeline faster than any other system available. It can be configured for local operation or remote access and allows the user to remotely monitor for alarm conditions.
