L&J Technologies, (USA) continue to promote ATEX approval through its various product offerings in order to better serve the European and other international markets.
ATEX certification is the European standard for any equipment operating in a potentially explosive environment. ATEX is a group of EU directives designed to standardise legislation across sister-countries, unifying national standards under a single provision. The end result is that selling equipment between countries has become a much simpler process with little to no legal “red tape” to slow things down. Rather than an “advisory” directive, ATEX has become mandatory in the EU. The compulsory nature of the directive also assures end users of the high degree of quality in their equipment. Even outside of Europe, ATEX approval is still viewed as the gold standard in quality because users know that manufacturers have had to attain a higher standard.
Realising this and the huge European market for bulk liquid management, L&J Technologies has incorporated ATEX certification into many of its various product offerings, from Transmitters to Conservation Vents and everything in between.
“We have and continue to design our new products with ATEX certification in mind,” said Jim Jannotta, L&J Engineering Product Manager. “It removes any and all impediments to our sales model in Europe and just simplifies everything. And as we all know, simple is better.”
L&J Technologies is also in the process of adapting many of its existing products in order to comply with ATEX standards. American-made products continue to maintain a reputation for high quality. In tandem with ATEX approval, the L&J Technologies product families continue to uphold that reputation.
