Recently L&J Engineering (USA), an industry specialist in the level gauging market, has added an all new Conar antenna design to the MCG 1600SFI Smart Flash Infrared Radar Gauge. The Conar antenna is designed for use in stilling well and gauge/sampling hatch applications.

The Conar antenna incorporates advanced waveguide technology which allows for a smaller, compact, and lightweight design. The Conar antenna features a Teflon radome that prevents buildup from forming on the inside of the antenna. This will allow for easy cleanup and maintenance on the radar gauge.

Designed to work in a variety of industries, the MCG 1600SFI has an accuracy of ± 0.5mm and uses FMCW technology operating with a frequency range of 10GHz. The MCG 1600SFI Radar Gauge can be customised to specific applications. All information is displayed on the radar’s 32‐character backlit LCD display and is programmed via the MCG 2150 Remote Calibrator.
