East Hills Instruments the manufacturer of the Magnum Pro pumps and licensee of TIME Electronics USA , has just announced its newest addition to its family of brands, Winchester Engineering at this years ISA show in Houston TX.
Unlike comparable gauges on the market, the Winchester Engineering (MODEL 1) is the first to offer auto ranging digital gaugeâ„¢ technology. This patent pending technology allows the gauge to span from absolute vacuum to 3,000psi while maintaining .1% of reading accuracy.
The most common aspect to the East Hills Instruments family of brands is the fact that they have earned a reputation for being "virtually indestructible". Cary Ratner, President of East Hills Instruments says
"The Winchester Engineering Model 1 continues this hard earned reputation by using shock proof components with an integral rubber boot design, as well as, other significant enhancements to eliminate the chance of damage to the gauge if dropped on a hard surface".
The Model 1`s other major design advantage, is that it is the only digital gauge to include a USB port for data logging and self diagnostic testing.
Mr. Ratner, says that "sales from the pneumatic Magnum Pro calibration pumps have grown by over 74% in the past 12 months and expects the success and synergy to carry over into the digital gauge market."
Industry source say that East Hills Instruments is currently in talks with other companies about the possibility of licensing this technology for transmitters and other devices that use multiple modules or the need to switch pressure ports.
