The AutoREID from AD systems (USA) is an automated Reid Vapour Pressure instrument in full compliance with ASTM D323-B, ASTM 4953, and similar standards. These methods are for the determination of vapour pressure of gasoline, volatile crude oil, and other volatile petroleum products. The Reid method is particularly suitable for determination of vapor pressure of crude oil for transportation, storage and general handling purposes. It is ideal for testing crude oil samples that may contain sludge and particulates, unlike other methods that employ pumps and pistons that may scar and fail. The AutoREID also directly measures the Reid Vapour Pressure without correlation or calculation.
