The SGS Deer Park laboratory has expanded ISO 17025 accreditation to over 50 tests and 108 test methods, and is one of the first independent labs in the world accredited to ISO 17025 for crude oil assay distillation methods ASTM D2892 and D5236. The SGS Beaumont / Port Arthur Petroleum Laboratory in Texas has been awarded an expanded ISO 17025 Accreditation for over 40 tests by 100 test methods. Both laboratories were accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board. The test methods covered under the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations include petroleum industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, and IP test methods. The new accreditation is an expansion and renewal of a previously awarded accreditations.
