New Viscosity Standards

SCP Science – Conostan (Canada) announces the availability of 6 General Purpose Viscosity Reference Standards manufactured in accordance with ASTM D 2162. Conostan certified mineral oil viscosity standards were developed for calibration and verification of all types of viscometers, including glass capillary viscometers, rotational viscometers, cup and falling ball viscometers. All standards are traceable to National Standards and according to ASTM & IP methods and carry a two year stability guaranty. Each standard is available in five popular volumes and is supplied with a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis detailing Kinematic and Dynamic Viscosity values at nine temperatures from 20 to 100 oC. Saybolt Viscosities are also provided at 37.78 oC and Density Values for each standard through the range of 20 to 100oC. These six standards represent the first in a quickly expanding family of viscosity standards which will be launched over the ensuing months and years.
