A recent webinar, sponsored by Thermo Scientific, looked at how the support of a data management solution with intrinsic flexibility enables laboratories across all industries to increase productivity and efficiency. As the largest refiner in the U.S., Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) needed a LIMS capable of centralising the laboratory operations of multiple locations over three North American time zones.  At the same time, they needed a system that could meet the unique configuration needs of each site without sacrificing upgradability.  In this webinar, you can learn how MPC achieved a centralised enterprise deployment with Thermo ScientificTM SampleManager LIMSTM software.

This eLearning session demonstrated how MPC uses SampleManager LIMS software functionality like workflows and forms to automate processes and improve efficiency across all sites, enabling these multiple locations to operate as one.

The webinar offered an excellent opportunity to learn about the importance of having a flexible data management solution to streamline your manufacturing processes and how a large corporation manages workflows and system functionality across multiple sites. It also highlighted the value of centralizing laboratory operations and how that can increase efficiency and productivity. The eLearning webinar is available on-demand.
