Ocean Optics (The Netherlands) has just released their new NeoFox Phase Measurement System for fluorescence-based oxygen measurements. NeoFox can measure both oxygen gas and dissolved oxygen in gases and liquids. NeoFox oxygen sensors are immune to interference from moisture, methane, carbon dioxide and other substances, making them ideal for chemical and petrochemical applications. The sensors are also immune to environmental changes in pH, salinity and ionic strength.

The NeoFox oxygen sensors do not consume oxygen, allowing it to be in continuous contact with the sample. This is especially interesting for on-line monitoring and quality control applications. Unless electrodes, the NeoFox does not need frequent calibration. They can even be applied in flammable or hazardous environment as there is no need for an electrical connection to the sensor.
