Keit Spectrometers have recently announced plans for relocating its corporate headquarters and manufacturing into the newly built Zephyr building on the Harwell Oxford Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, England. Following a successful round of funding, Keit announced plans for fitting out 5,750 square feet of newly dedicated space to accommodate increased manufacturing and commercial activity. Keit began operations on the Harwell Campus at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in 2012 with a promising space technology to monitor the atmosphere on Mars that has since been successfully developed for application in industries on Earth – including monitoring and control of processes in the petrochemical, oil & gas, and biorenewable industries. Commenting on why they chose to expand on the Campus, Dan Wood, CEO, Keit said: “The benefits of being at Harwell for a tech company are significant. We have access to world-class testing facilities and experts in a uniquely collaborative environment. This support network and environment has enabled us to successfully grow our company from concept to global commercialisation.”
