Tribology experts to convene in Bari for ECOTRIB 2023

Tribology societies from Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and Switzerland are proud to announce that the biennial European Conference on Tribology, ECOTRIB 2023, will be held in Bari, Italy from June 21 to June 23. This prestigious conference brings together leading researchers in the field of tribology from academia and industry worldwide to share and discuss the latest advancements and insights.

ECOTRIB 2023 will cover a range of traditional and emerging topics in tribology, including fundamentals, lubricants, industrial tribology and green applications, materials, coatings & thin films, biotribology & biomimetics, modelling and simulation, interfacial phenomena, adhesion, wetting, wear, friction, corrosion, contact mechanics, and machine learning in tribology.

Researchers and professionals are invited to submit abstracts on any of the conference topics before March 13, 2023.

Bari, located along the Adriatic sea coast, boasts more than 10km of beautiful seafront, making it the perfect location for the conference. The city is renowned for its historic centre, characterised by narrow alleys, courtyards, and Romanesque monuments, as well as its bustling bars and restaurants serving superb local seafood and wine.
