The precision control of flow rate and pressure provided by Quizix pulse-less metering pumps from Chandler Engineering (USA) has proven key in a number of successful nano, capillary and micro high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometer (LC/MS) applications. This also has been the case with precision fluid delivery in pilot plant-scale reactant feed/catalyst injection and other process applications.

Quizix precision pumping systems offer continuous pulse-free flow or pressure control at the high pressures and temperatures required to optimize critical fluid delivery and extraction applications such as catalyst injection, chromatography and core testing. The pressure pulses common to most pump systems create baseline noise in experiment results, cause variations in reaction rates or can damage delicate chromatography columns and porous materials such as rock cores. With their pulse-free operation, Quizix precision metering pumps eliminate all of these potential problems.

Quizix pumps are designed to provide years of trouble-free operation. They are capable of delivering or receiving at a constant pressure or flow rate from sub-nano liter/minute to 400ml/minute at pressures up to 20,000 psi. All can be controlled via PumpWorks software that provides complete control over all pump functions.

Chandler Engineering focuses on upstream markets in oil and gas exploration and production. Its products include phase behavior instruments, formation testing systems, pulse-less metering pumps, oil-well cement analyzers, viscometers and densitometers used for well production, production enhancement, reservoir development and pipeline transmission.
