AURA Controls (USA) has introduced a compact single-stage  regulator designed to provide primary pressure control of gas and liquid in limited spaces. The new EXC Compact Regulator is suited for applications including test benches, analytical instrumentation, and OEM equipment.

The innovative regulator’s design minimises weight and footprint to allow for easy integration into systems, cabinets, and custom equipment. The EXC’s dynamic cartridge sensing mechanism enables steady and reliable pressure control from inlet pressures up to 4500 psig while the encapsulated seat design consolidates the numerous internal components of a standard regulator to increase component longevity. A 10-micron 360° internal filter provides significantly more filtration than the traditional disk method to eliminate impurities from all inlet ports and lengthen the equipment’s lifecycle.

Fully configurable to meet the end-user’s specifications, the EXC is available in PTFE and PCTFE seat materials along with orifice sizes up to .1 to accommodate application-specific process conditions. Standard threaded bonnets and screw holes allow the regulator to be flush or panel mounted, for ease of installation.

Combined with multiple porting configurations and delivery pressure ranges up to 1500 psig, the EXC is the precise and flexible choice for applications where space is at a premium. Each regulator is 100% helium-leak-checked and fully flow- and function-tested to ensure the highest levels of durability and functionality available.
