MINIVIS 445 from Grabner Instruments is a smart solution for testing viscosity: The automatic and portable Micro-Viscometer was designed for the quick and accurate determination of the viscosity of fuels, oils and petrochemical products.

MINIVIS 445 combines a falling ball viscometer with an advanced density meter, an automatic filling system and a very fast temperature control. The compact unit was designed for the precise determination of dynamic and kinematic viscosity over a wide temperature range and a viscosity range of 0.2 to 2000 cSt (mm2/s).

Built-in Peltier elements provide temperature control, eliminating the need for large water baths and allowing for quick determination of viscosity index, which is automatically measured and calculated. MINIVIS 445 is fully automated, portable and easy to operate, thus making the instrument the first choice for precise viscosity measurements in heavy duty environment and for applications in the field.

The instrument incorporates reflection sensors which make it possible to cover a wider range of applications, from transparent to very opaque samples such as used or heavy oil. Its measurement cell is easily accessible, eliminating the cleaning problems associated with other viscometers. Users appreciate the unit`s easy handling and automatic sample feeding.
