Grabner Instruments, a subsidiary of AMETEK Inc., will showcase its technology for vapor pressure measurement and fuel analysis in the United Arab Emirates, Germany and India. In spring, the manufacturer of petroleum testing equipment is at Arab Lab in Dubai, Analytica in Munich, and the International Symposium on Fuel and Lubricants (ISFL) in Delhi.

Grabner Instruments built its renown with devices for vapor pressure and flashpoint measurement. It is now reshaping fuel analysis with an innovative Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer.

Visitors at Arab Lab, Analytica and ISFL have a chance to interact with the latest instruments, including the MINISCAN IR VISION FTIR fuel analyser and MINIVAP VP VISION vapor pressure tester.

MINISCAN IR VISION determines fuel composition according to the standards ASTM D5845 and D6277. It also predicts octane and cetane number, vapor pressure and distillation according to the standard practice ASTM E1655. Thanks to its 10-inch full-colour touchscreen, the FTIR-analyser is easy to operate for laboratory and field personnel alike.

MINIVAP VP VISION measures vapor pressure between 0-2000 kPa with a mere 10ml sample, including rinsing. Its accompanying PC software Cockpit lets lab managers gather data from various MINIVAP VP VISION units and speed up analytical work with samples originating from different locations.

Arab Lab takes place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (March 18-21), Analytica at Messe Munich (April 10-13) and ISFL at Taj Vivanta, Delhi (April 15-17).

GRABNER INSTRUMENTS is considered one of the world´s leading developers and manufacturers of automatic petroleum testing equipment. Grabner Instruments’ success is based on the development of portable, rugged and easy-to-operate fuel and oil analysers for accurate quality control in the laboratory as well as for fast on-site tests in mobile lab facilities.

AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annual sales of 4.3 billion US$.
