The new compact RECON-B Series portable gas detectors, from Enmet (USA), feature a large easy-to-read LCD. Instruments are available for monitoring CO, H₂S, O₂, SO₂, NH₂, ppm H₂ or combustible gas. Other features include two instant alarms with audio/visual and vibratory indicators, rechargeable battery, with STEL and TWA alarms for toxic gases. This small shirt-pocket-size instrument weighs about 140 grams. RECON-B Series instruments are designed to be intrinsically safe.
