AutoEXEC® Incorporates Measurement and Control for Natural Gas and Petroleum Liquids into One Device. Thermo Fisher Scientific (USA)
announce that the Thermo Scientific AutoEXEC® multi-run flow computer and remote telemetry unit now integrates measurement and control functionality for both natural gas and petroleum liquids applications. The first flow computer of its kind, the AutoEXEC is the newest addition to the premier line of Thermo Scientific gas flow computers and the most robust, enabling users to standardize and consolidate measurement applications on up to 32 runs with one unit.
“The new AutoEXEC model leverages more than four decades of experience in manufacturing innovative flow computers by Thermo Fisher Scientific. It provides the speed and accuracy required for a number of applications, including custody transfer,” said Matt Diese, EFM/RTU product manager of Thermo Fisher Scientific. “Our customers have come to rely on us to engineer the fastest, most reliable flow computers on the market and we’re proud to add another product to the line that will further increase their efficiency and reduce overall capital expenditures.” The AutoEXEC is the fastest flow computer on the market with an update rate of 10 times per second and now incorporates built-in API Ch 21.2 compliance for electronic liquid flow measurement along with API Ch 21.1 compliance for electronic gas flow measurement. In addition, the Thermo Scientific AutoEXEC is easy to install with no required programming; and it is simple to operate and secure with assigned user access levels for retrieval of stored or polled data.
The new AutoEXEC multi-run flow computer and remote telemetry unit adds
liquid measurement functionality to the following key features of the existing platform, increasing productivity, efficiency and uptime.
Built on a high performance 32-bit processor, the AutoEXEC runs at greater than 300 million instructions per second (MIPS) while consuming minimal power. Scalable input/output gives users the flexibility to build a customized system. USB connectivity enables users to easily connect a flash drive, laptop, PC or printer. NEMA 4X enclosure enables installation on- or off-shore. Multiple surge protection schemes ensure superior lightning protection on every board.
