Since the TransLoc system allows for laboratory calibration, the performance of the liquid version complies with OIML R117 and API recommendations. The meter also serves as a perfect replacement for intrusive densitometers. It is ideal for custody-transfer pipeline, terminal, refinery and transportation applications.

The gas version is compliant with AGA-9 and features an internal fixed AGA-8 table that allows for reporting of standard volume flow without a separate volume-compensating flow computer. It is well-suited for production wells, underground storage, gas processing, power plants and other applications with valve-generated acoustic noise.
