Malema Sensors’ (USA) Model M-XF and M-VF Excess Flow Valves shut off flow in pipe lines in case of an emergency caused by a rupture or an accidental release of large quantities of hazardous or costly fluids. They are completely self contained valves that actuates simply due to the surge in velocity caused by the line breakage.

There is no need for external actuation by manual, air, hydraulic or electric means. Designed to meet international standards, these high quality valves are available in sizes from 1/8” to 16” in various materials and pressure ratings. The shut off flow rate is field adjustable.
