Madison Company’s (USA) new Hydrostatic Pressure Level Sensors are approved to UL/cUL913 (CSA 157) Class I Div 1, Groups C and D for use in intrinsically safe areas with an approved barrier. The MAD4500 and MAD4510, ruggedly constructed from high-strength stainless steel, are suitable for harsh environments, both indoors and outdoors. They are compatible with a wide range of liquids and are ideal for such applications as ground water level depth measurement; earthen and concrete dams; liquid tanks; gasoline and diesel fuel tanks; irrigation; and waste water canals.

Madison’s Pressure Sensors utilise unique diaphragm technology and solid state design that provide high accuracy, reliability and versatility in various vessel configurations with liquid pressure up to 100 PSIG. Other benefits include a wide operating temperature range and EMI/RFI protection. The standard model MAD4500 and model MAD4510 Submersible Hydrostatic Pressure Sensors are part of Madison’s PR Series, which also includes Madison-Omni(R) Pressure Sensors with integrated programmable displays and the Madison-Omni(R) Differential Pressure Transmitter.
