Emerson Process Management announces that it has expanded the range of Micro Motion Elite Coriolis meters with the introduction of two new options for the largest of the Elitemeters: a nickel-alloy C-22 construction option and a high-pressure option. With greater operating capability than ever before, the exceptional measurement performance of the Micro Motion Elite Coriolismeters is now available for an even wider range of processes and applications. The Micro Motion Elite Coriolismeter, model CMF400, is suitable for 100 to 150mm(4” to 6”) line sizes with a maximum flow rate to 545,500 kg/h (20,000 lb/min). The high pressure CMF400P version is now pressure rated to 205 bar (2973 psi),making this Micro Motion Elite Coriolismeter the ideal instrument for ethylene, natural gas, refining and petrochemical applications where accurate and reliable measurement, under high pressure conditions, is critical.
The new nickel-alloy C-22 construction of the CMF400H version makes it suitable for applications where the process fluid is harsh and incompatible with Stainless Steel, making this new, larger Micro Motion Elite Coriolis meter ideal for sour crude handling, well product and some corrosive refining applications. To assist customers with the selection of the correct Coriolismeter for compatibility with different fluids, MicroMotion offers a free, extensive Corrosion Guide, available for download at www.micromotion.com under the ‘Documentation’ section.
