Brookfield Engineering Laboratories (USA) a leader in process viscometers for oilfield service in-line viscometers will have their industry standard TT100 viscometer for drill mud on display at the Offshore Technology Conference May 2-5, 2011 in Houston Texas.

The display will take place at Booth # 3722. Brookfield will show new features that provide greater efficiency for viscosity measurement and control. You will see how to obtain continuous real-time Viscosity measurements at multiple speeds/shear rates. This instrument provides data that allows customers to determine real-time annular hydraulics. With this information, Drilling Engineers have the ability to reduce drilling cost, prevent well control problems and increase efficiency.

Brookfield’s TT100 with Couette geometry provides a way to create and communicate a new level of data for Rig Operators, Owners, and Drilling Fluid Suppliers that is extremely valuable and provides new efficiency while reducing time and costs. The data allows the user to calculate real-time Yield Point, Plastic Viscosity, and ECD information continuously. This instrument, which has been the workhorse of the stimulation industry for decades, has been adapted over the past few years to also meet the needs of the drilling fluids market.
