In elemental analysis, especially in routine-labs with shift work, the quality of result strongly depends on the operator´s qualification. Time-consuming operator trainings, stringent safety, system checks, and frequent preventive maintenance are required. For more efficient work, this unpredictable factor must be eliminated.

The Self Check System (SCS) of multi EA 5000 from Analytik Jena (Germany) is an intelligent combination of hardware components and software functions which automatically prevents faulty analyses and system contamination. Gas flows, temperatures, pressure, system tightness, detector stability, required maintenance, combustion quality etc. are checked and regulated by the system. This means easy operation, reliable readings and saves costs and working time.
