Aeternum Capital is delighted to announce further successful recommissioning at their biodiesel, bioliquids and biolubricants manufacturing plant at Bromborough, near Liverpool. Commercial biodiesel production began last year after a £12 million investment, with biolubricants set to come on stream in coming weeks when the Automatic Batch Blending (ABB) unit progresses through final performance testing.

The ABB unit represents a technologically advanced blending option, specifically designed for handling complex formulations, and offering high levels of flexibility, blend accuracy, and repeatability. Coupled with the Bromborough's extensive bulk storage, packaging and road loading assets, the ABB unit is at the heart of Aeternum's lubricants growth plans. Aeternum are already partnering with major names in industry to deliver this, with more commercial opportunities available.

The project is being led by Richard Day, who was appointed by Aeternum to take charge of their Lubricants and Oils team in January 2012. Richard brings with him a detailed knowledge of the sector and the Bromborough site, where he was General Manager of the facility when it was owned and operated by Lubrizol.
