Determining sulfur, nitrogen, chloride or carbon in liquefied pressurized gases (LPGs) is challenging for many quality control labs in the petro industry. There are safety and cross contamination issues in sample preparation and dosing, the risks of incomplete combustion and deflagration as well as data evaluation challenges for ultra-trace applications due to the limited availability of suitable calibration standards.
In this eLearning session, Dr. Angela Gröbel, elemental analysis expert from Analytik Jena, will be presenting a reliable solution for overcoming these challenges. From sample preparation to data evaluation, Angela will show how you can maximize safety, get faster and more precise results for trace and ultra-trace elements with better calibration strategies and simplify the overall workflow for more efficiency.
Key learning objectives:
Dr. Angela Gröbel, senior product manager for elemental analysis solutions at Analytik Jena, is an expert in the field of C/N/S/Cl analysis in challenging sample matrices. Angela is a chemist by trade and worked in several R&D roles and project management positions at Analytik Jena. She co-developed and managed several new analyzers like the industry-leading multi EA series, which solved many major analysis challenges for industry and research labs. Right now, she is working on streamlining the C/N/S/Cl analysis workflow for the downstream oil and gas industry.
