Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc. (USA) is pleased to introduce the latest in a series of informational product videos. The new video highlights the features and capabilities of the new Rigaku NEX DE high-performance direct excitation energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) elemental analyser.

Especially engineered for heavy industrial use, whether on the plant floor or in remote field environments, the NEX DE analyser was developed to maximise flexibility and ease-of-use. Suitable for a broad range of applications, the instrument was designed for demanding measurements, or for situations where analysis time or sample throughput is critical. It is equipped with a 60 kV, 12 W X-ray tube, delivering significant improvements in elemental peak resolution and counting statistics, to facilitate superior calibrations and precision for the most challenging analyses.

From the different analysis atmospheres supported and its advancement in X-ray tube conservation, to the performance of the X-ray tube and detector, the 3 ½ minute video presentation describes how the Nex DE spectrometer delivers the instrument’s three core requirements of flexibility, sensitivity and reliability.

The video also offers a preview of Rigaku QuantEZ analytical software, developed to be both extraordinarily powerful and extremely easy to use. QuantEZ software, coupled with the high-resolution SDD detector, enables straightforward qualitative evaluation of spectra, as it walks the user through the steps required to set up either an empirical or Fundamental Parameters application.

The video is among the most recent in a collection of product videos available on both the Rigaku company website and Rigaku YouTube channel. It can be seen at http://ilmt.co/PL/DVeY.
