Viscometer
New insertion viscometer to revolutionise viscosity measurement for process industries
May 09 2023
Sofraser has launched the INVI, a revolutionary product designed to improve process operations and enhance the quality of production results. The INVI, which is mounted on a standard flanged nozzle, is a compact, easy-to-install viscometer that provides continuous viscosity and temperature measurements with high reliability and repeatability.
With a reduced size design, the INVI can be mounted on nozzles as small as 1’’1/2, making it a perfect solution for nozzles that are already in place on the process line and are complicated and costly to modify. The viscometer measures instantaneously and continuously, providing superior quality results for better production efficiency and increased profitability.
The INVI is available in three different versions, with remote electronics that can be matched with the all range of Sofraser electronics and HMI processors. In the embedded electronics version, the electronics drive the sensor and compute the raw data, providing viscosity and temperature information through its two current outputs or its RS485 port. The embedded electronics version is available with or without display.
The remote electronics version is available in European ATEX and IECEx intrinsically safe for Zone 0. The INVI has a 205 mm insertion length in standard and is made for customers' specific needs.
The INVI is an all-in-one solution that provides reliable, repeatable, and continuous viscosity and temperature measurements, improving process operations and leading to superior quality results for better production efficiency and increased profitability.
