New Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitters from Siemens
Apr 21 2008
Sitrans LG200 is an advanced two-wire, loop-powered level transmitter that provides an analog 4 to 20 mA signal with HART communication. Fifteen different models offer continuous level measurement for an extensive range of applications. The advanced echo processing software ensures reliable level and interface measurement in liquids with corrosive vapors, foam, steam, high viscosity, surface agitation, high fill/empty rates, low level, and varying dielectric or density.
Sitrans LG200 measures in temperatures up to 427 °C (800° F), in pressures up to 6250 psig (431 bar), and in ultra-low dielectric (1.4) materials. The product line includes coaxial, single and twin rod, and cable antennas. All models are available with Intrinsically Safe, Explosion Proof, or Non-Incendive approvals.
With its compact design and its range of threaded and flange process connections Sitrans LG200 is easy to install. Setup is simple with three programming buttons on the instrument or via a Hart hand-held programmer. The user can also program the device from a remote location with Simatic PDM via Hart protocol.
Sitrans LG200 offers:
⢠Dependable performance - unaffected by change in density and dielectric properties
⢠Low dielectric measurement - accurately measures materials with a dielectric constant (dK) range of 1.4 and higher
⢠Extreme conditions - measures in applications from -195 to 427 °C (-320 to 800 °F) and from full vacuum to 431 bar g (6250 psi g)
⢠Reliable measurement - accurate to 2.5 mm (0.1\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\")
⢠Extended insertion length - probe lengths up to 22.5 m (75 ft)
⢠Hazardous approvals - Intrinsically Safe, Explosion proof, and Non-Incendive approvals
⢠Easy setup with push button configuration or HART communications
