ICIS adjusts biodiesel reporting strategy in face of changing global market
Nov 25 2011
ICIS has adjusted the format of its latest biodiesel report in light of changes to the way the global market is structured.
The latest weekly ICIS Global Biodiesel report has been tailored to the more globalised nature of the market, by merging Asian, Euroean and American elements into a single entity.
By presenting the information altogether, the editorial team believe they will be able offer a more comprehensive and detailed view of the market to investors.
The team, led by Lei Lei Wong, Sarah Trinder and Judith Taylor, said: "The new ICIS global biodiesel report is what our subscribers need in order to track market movements, regardless of whether they are in Asia, Europe or the Americas."
They hope the in-depth political, production and market coverage will enhance stakeholders' abilities to make confident business decisions, by improving their negotiating power on a global level.
The new report format will provide biodiesel spot-price assessments on FOB NEW, FOB Rotterdam and FOB Midwest indices, among others.
