ERAFLASH S10 is eralytics unique 10 position auto sampler flash point tester. It covers the methods ASTM D7094 and ASTM D6450. Both are continuously closed cup methods and therefore intrinsically safe in usage. There is no risk at all of a fire in the lab as any flame is automatically extinguished due to a lack of oxygen.

Using these safe methods for our 10 position flash point tester helps to overcome any preconception lab managers might have against auto sampler flash point testers in general due to safety concerns. In contrast to Pensky Martens testers a sample volume of only 1 or 2 ml is needed which is never exposed to an open flame.

Since December 2013 the flash point method ASTM D7094 is also accepted as an official alternative to ASTM D93 for fuel specification testing according to ASTM D396 (Fuel oils), D975 (Diesel fuel oils), D2880 (Gas turbine fuel oils), D3699 (Kerosene) and D7467 (Diesel Fuel Oil, Biodiesel Blend B6 to B20).

With its unrivaled temperature range of -25 to 420 °C (-13 to 788 °F) ERAFLASH S10 cannot only be used for fuel specification purposes. It is also an extremely cost efficient tool from the flavors and fragrances industry all the way to big used oil testing facilities. All industries profit from the small sample volume and the patented Peltier Boost Technology (PBT)TM allowing for unmatched heating and cooling rates and therefore for shortest turnaround times on the market.
