To improve efficiency in Condition Monitoring and connectivity, the Bühler product range has been offering sensors equipped with IO-Link controllers which comply with the IEC 61131-9 standard for some time now. This communication method is available now for the most of all Bühler sensors. Thus all control factors relevant in hydraulics and lubrication technology can now be monitored on a network, such as liquid level, temperature and pressure, as well as filter and moisture monitoring. Integrating liquid level and temperature monitoring combined with other basic functions such as ventilation and return filtration or the fill and sampling connections in compact installations is also particularly beneficial.

Equipment with IO-Links provide easier, uniform wiring, bi-directional communication. This enables automatic parametrisation when replacing devices, facilitates anything from maintenance to remote diagnostics and enables internal standardisation processes – just to name a few benefits.

During its 50th year, this program expansion demonstrates how Bühler Technologies is once again showing that working closely with leading OEMs in this industrial sector and a motivated, innovative development team is the best basis for the successful development of a company.
