Safety Flow Meter for Hazardous Liquid and Gaseous Applications

The specially designed safety flow meters from Bühler Technologies (Germany) are suitable for tough plant environments due to their highly corrosion resistant materials both for critical fluid and gas applications. The robust housing made of stainless steel ensures the security of the glass metering tube which is extrememly critical for toxic or corrosive gas.

The composition of materials can be combined, for example, the head of the flow meters could be PTFE, SS or Titanium, the seal could be PVDF/ Viton or PCTFE/ Perfluorelastometer and even the float could be chosen between Hastelloy C4 or PEEK with iron core. Apart from the high material quality, the float reflexes a real time response which reduces any potential risks or damages.

All Bühler flow meters are suitable to be applied in explosiveatmosphere (Zone 1, Group IIC) since it corresponds to the essential requirement of the Directive 94/9/EC.
