Anton Paar’s SVM 1001 Simple Fill viscometer has made the measurement of petroleum products such as fuels and lubricants simple. The highly innovative simple fill funnel has made filling the instrument easy, eliminating the need for pipette or syringes. The integrated air pump enables the measuring cells to be cleaned and dried automatically, thus reducing operation time from 30 down to 2 minutes.

The SVM 1001 Simple Fills is the perfect solution for rapid, at-line measurements or quality control of incoming goods; it is a smarter alternative to manual glass capillary viscometers, with an exceptional 150 % higher throughput.

This user-friendly instrument provides highly precise ASTM D7042 results for certification according to SAE J300, EN 590, D975, and more. If necessary, the instrument can even deliver ASTM D445-corrected results for certain sample types at certain temperatures with the integrated bias-correction. 

The integrated Peltier temperature control eliminates the need for a thermostat bath and bath liquid. The SVM 1001 can be battery-powered, making it ideal for use in mobile labs or as a back-up instrument.
