Mar 05 2024
The Milliflip™ Filtration Unit is the newest addition to Merck KGaA, Darmstadt (DE)’s Millipore® Portfolio of premium Preparation, Separation, and Filtration products.
The Milliflip™ filter unit is a disposable, vacuum-driven nonsterile filtration system used in the pre-filtration and clarification of water, buffers, and aqueous solutions. Filter with a flip of your wrist - it is designed to work with standard 50 mL centrifuge tubes, which eliminates sample transfer.
Milliflip™ filters key features
- Robust filtration of 5- 50 mL volumes
- Compatible with most standard, double-lead threaded centrifuge tubes
- Faster and more convenient compared to other filtration methods
- Ergonomic design
- Closed system with reduced risk of contamination
No sample transfer required
Maximize recovery, save time, and reduce contamination. Milliflip™ filters attach directly to standard, double-threaded 50 mL centrifuge tubes, eliminating a transfer step prior to filtration. Simply attach the filter to your sample tube, flip, and vacuum. No clamps. No cleaning. No fuss.
