Benchtop Tablet Weight Sorter Achieves Improved Accuracy
Jan 05 2010
CI Electronics has introduced the SADE SP-B10 Benchtop tablet/capsule weight sorter. This instrument achieves an improved accuracy of +/-0.5mg.
Most tablets and capsules can be processed without any need for change parts and only minimal manual adjustments. A new feed and sort mechanism ensures precision handling and consistent accuracy, enabling sorting rates of 35-45 per minute to be achieved.
The SADE SP-B10 weight sorter is designed for use in research and development departments for 100% weight-sorting of small development batches or clinical trial supplies. The instrument can output reports to a local printer connected via a USB cable. Alternatively, the SP Connect software package enables secure PDF reports to be transferred to a PC, as well as weight data to Excel-compatible spreadsheet files. There is also an option for printing across a network.
Cleaning is quick and easy thanks to the component design and the use of electro-polished 316 stainless steel for contact parts. This helps to minimise the time between batches and maximise throughput.
Other features of the SADE SP-B10 Benchtop instrument include an integral removable draught shield, a product and method library and multi-level access control.
CI Electronics has designed the SADE SP-B10 Benchtop tablet/capsule weight sorter in accordance with GMP standards and it is supported by comprehensive validation documentation and a full installation and maintenance service.
