Maximum safety and efficiency at all levels in the process cycle: ERAVAP ONLINE – Vapor Pressure Testing at its Best

With ERAVAP ONLINE eralytics developed the process-solution for the already well-proven laboratory vapor pressure tester ERAVAP. Its core is based on the very same measurement cell as the laboratory instrument uses. The measurement cell is ruggedised to be perfectly suitable for 24/7 operation further increasing the already excellent durability of the lab instrument. Results from ERAVAP ONLINE are identical to laboratory results. There is no need for correlating results in any way. With the latest invention, the Fast VP-Method, eralytics provides an efficient monitoring of process loop applications.
ERAVAP ONLINE handles up to three sample streams and one quality control stream. The measurement results are output over MODBUS and/or four analog lines (4-20mA). Four configurable digital inputs and four outputs can be used for further communication if needed. With its versatile communication configurability ERAVAP ONLINE can be easily integrated into any thinkable control environment.
Another very important aspect for often harsh process environments is safety, in particular explosion prevention. Therefore, ERAVAP Online is completely explosion proof and safe with certifications according to UL Class 1 Zone 1, ATEX and IECEx.
For a great operator convenience, ERAVAP ONLINE is equipped with an ex-proof 15” touchscreen for setup and on-site inspection. The operator can fully control the analyzer over the touchscreen and all system parameters can be checked. In regular operating mode ERAVAP ONLINE runs fully automated. If necessary remote control is possible via MODBUS or the digital inputs.
Providing feedback to a process control loop requires a quick delivery of results. The faster a result is delivered, the faster the controller can react to any changes on the product. This is why eralytics developed the Fast VP-Method for ERAVAP Online. The results obtained with the Fast VP-method deviate slightly from the vapor pressures measured according to D6378 but without giving up on the excellent repeatability of D6378. The use of the Fast VP-method helps speeding up your process control loop providing more results in less time, therefore ensuring a faster response on changes in your process.
Additional to the Fast VP method, regular D6378 measurements can be performed for quality control according to the ASTM standards.
ERAVAP ONLINE comes with a set of two measurement cells which store all important calibration parameters directly. The downtime for a mandatory recalibration is not more than a minute – just the time needed to exchange the two measurement cells. The spare cell is then recalibrated off-site.
ERAVAP Online is fully compliant to the international standards ASTM D6377, D6378 and D6897. With available test methods for crude oil (ASTM D6377), gasoline (ASTM D6378) and LPG (ASTM D6897) the ex-proof ERAVAP ONLINE analyzer is the ideal solution for a wide variety of different applications in your process environment.
