Horiba Scientific Introduces a New Compact Routine Particle Size Analyser: Partica mini LA-350
Oct 04 2017
The Ideal Analyser for Intensive Size Quality Controls from 0.1 to 1000 µm
HORIBA Scientific introduces a new particle size analyser, the PARTICA MINI LA-350.
The ultra-small size of the device and its wide measuring range (0.1-1000 μm) makes it particularly attractive for many quality control applications.
This new system is dedicated to applications such as minerals powders, ceramics slurries and raw materials, polymer suspensions, chemicals, metals powders, food emulsions and many more.
Measurement protocols, specifically developed by product family are integrated into the software and meet most analytical needs in particle size analysis.
To perform a quick check on a sample, a simple selection of the method corresponding to the product family name, is sufficient to start the measurement cycle.
If necessary, it is possible to develop a step-by-step control method (definition of refractive index, pump speed, analysis time, etc). Integrated tools guide the user through the condition selection process to ensure the relevance of the method.
The new LA-350 particle size analyser concentrates HORIBA's know-how in designing high-quality, robust and high-performance analysers.
Christelle Mégier, product manager at HORIBA FRANCE, commented: "Its extreme compactness and dedicated product interface make it unique on the market. The LA-350 will be used on both laboratories for routine analysis or for test campaigns, site to site. New perspectives will rise in particle size activities.
